Today we had pizzabitar for dinner. What is that you might ask? Why it’s Swedish pizza from IKEA!
Well, not sure about the ‘Swedish’ part, but it’s pizza from a Swedish store called IKEA. It was pretty good. I ended up getting a bunch of stuff from their little grocery area in front of the registers… meatballs, cookies, potato and broccoli souffles (which Sophia inhaled this evening). For more tasty IKEA treats, go here. I love IKEA frozen foods, so easy to heat up and use in meal preparation. (And the meatballs are fantastic and perfect in meatball subs with French bread, tomato sauce and provolone. Quick, easy and very tasty.)
I also really liked the idea of making Friday nights ‘pizza night’ for our family. It can be frozen pizza, take out, at a restaurant, doesn’t matter. It’s fun to have traditions and something to look forward to. We’ll see if this one sticks.
After pizza we went to Marble Slab for ice cream. During dinner we asked Emma if she wanted ice cream and she responded with “No ice cream. Fruit”. I immediately responded with “This cannot be my child”. She eventually had a change of heart and we headed out for ice cream.

See the little blur in each pic that I call my daughter? Yeah, she wasn’t still for a second. And that was before eating the ice cream…
I found this on Etsy and I’m loving it. I have so many ideas running through my head right now about how to customize it. What a wonderful family keepsake, it would fit perfectly in a kitchen or breakfast room. I am obsessed with writing in my home right now, if you can’t tell. Sayings, names, inspirational quotes… If there is anyone that would like to surprise me with this wonderful gift, by all means, be my guest.

What am I loving right now?
1. My little family and the time that I am blessed to be spending with them.
2. My college roommate reunion this weekend.
3. Seeing my cousin and her family on Sunday. Missing the kiddos.
4. Emma making it a point to tell me she ‘tooted’ every time she passed gas, and then pointing to her derriere. LOVE that.
5. Thinking about the upcoming trips I’m going to be taking with my family. First on the list… Austin!
There always is. Have a wonderful weekend, y’all!
